I love-love-love Def Jam for what they've done for hip-hops, so don't take this as hatin'. It's just that, they just released a rarities album that firstly, only contains 13 tracks, and secondly is limited to Nas, Ne-yo, Redman, Bobby Valentino (He's still releasing albums?), Rihanna, Fabolous, and one song from Method Man.
Oh, Ghostface doesn't have any outakes? Bullfunky! Jay-Z can release 5000000 underground tracks that I can search the internet for days to find, but if I buy an outakes album, I can't get one? I can't help but feel cheated. Maybe I've just come to expect more, or perhaps [more likely] I just haven't fully realized how corporate Def Jam has become. Weak.
