The End Has No End
Hey! I'm trying to decided what I'm doing with my header. So-It's up to all of yous who read this blog. If you like the new one, let me know. If you prefer the old one, throw a fit. If you don't care, continue doing what you've been doing...which is sucking at life. I'm just lookin for a little help. Thanks

I think it's too big! it's a nice header but I think you should make it a bit smaller so it's not taking up half the screen
i echo the "too big" sentiment. from a design perspective, it violates the "above the fold" rule, (I gotta scroll down to see the first bits of content) and from a web design perspective, it creates a horizontal scrollbar in my browser even though I have a 1024px wide screen. And that really chaps my ass.
yeah its a little too big. it makes my poor photoshop skills very noticable.

ps - is that pete wentz in that picture?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
The header's size does affect the sense of balance. The picture reminds me of the thinker (Rodin?)-but this guy is reading. Perhaps you should think about the concept a bit more.
