Today, I had the opportunity to do a phone interview with Bryan Poole, a guitarist from Of Montreal. It was a really quick interview, timing out to an intense 10 minutes exchange. Basically, we kept the convo on the topic of the bands live show...and Kevin Barnes...addition to their show in Vegas. Bryan spoke on the influences of Little Richard and "real" live shows that really entertained, and the dichotomy created between older shows and current too cool, indie shows. Which is understandable, but, for some reason, i don't think flailing penises are the answer.
Call me old fashion. Of Montreal will be playing in Philly next month, on March 8th, at the
Trocadero.(I feel he should be wearing pants, but that color eye shadow looks good on him)
