Last night has added to the awesomeness of this week. I was invited to the Rotter and Friends Clothing line party, where I told some Natalie Portman looking woman how much she looked like Natalie Portman. Come to find out, it was Natalie (we're so on a first name basis now), and that I'm just horrid with noticing what "real" (hyper-real) celebrities look like. Zoinks!
After that embarrassment- I fled to the Highline Ballroom to see Islands play. The band is always evolving, and it's really becoming more musically intricate as they mature. They played mostly new songs with a few old hits peppered into the lineup. Two more picks of Nick T., Island's frontman, for you guys, then I'm off to get this train wreck started again!
